Optical Performance Centre

Birmingham Science Park Aston’s, Optical Performance Centre (OPC) has been specifically designed to be a technical resource, supporting the development of new products and processes; offering photonics expertise and equipment across multiple sectors.

Using specialist equipment, the OPC attracts science and technology projects and brings academics and industry professionals together in mutually beneficial collaborations.

The facilities contain systems and equipment typically far beyond the economic reaches of most technology ventures and SMEs, allowing small-scale businesses to test products and prove concepts to internationally recognised standards.
